Miss Something? |

As in
years past, we get asked about an old news article or pictures
(the Halloween costume pictures are quite popular) that were
posted on the News and Announcements page from time to time.
The ease of
access to those old articles is continuing in 2011 with the
reorganizing of the News
and Announcements Archival pages. At the top of this page
(News and Announcements) is a
link to the new News and Announcements archival page which has
links to all the archival pages since 2007.
Click here, on the picture on the
right, or on the link at the top of this page to see the
News archives. An archival page for 2011 will be built and
made available as soon as practical.

Security Federal is proud to announce that we can offer our
customers eStatements.
eStatements provide individual customers with
monthly account image
statements instead of monthly printed paper statements. eStatements
provide 18 rolling months of statements available at any time,
day or night.
Plus, there is an option to save the file to your home computer in a
PDF (requires PDF viewing software). eStatements
are normally available for viewing in the afternoon of the second business
day after your account cycle ends - which is about 5 to 7 days sooner
than receiving a paper statement in the mail. After you
sign up, you wi ll receive a
notification e-mail every month when the eStatement is available
for viewing and download.
Individual customers can simply click
here, on the picture to the
right, on the "eStatements" menu item to the left, or the menu
item at the bottom of this page. Business customers can
partake of the features and advantages of eStatements as well.
However, business customers must come to one of our three
locations to have one of our friendly Customer Service
Representatives set up the account for eStatements.
Questions? Please feel free to contact us at 931-473-4483.

The Very, Very Best |
|

All of us here at Security Federal Savings Bank are as proud as
we can be of Shannon Wiser! Shannon has just been voted
2nd in the Southern Standard's Best Of The Best Teller by the
people of Warren County.
Shannon started with the Bank as a Teller in
October of 2005 and later went upstairs to the Loan Servicing
Department in July of 2008. Just last October she returned
to familiar territory when she was needed as a Teller again.
So, the next time you're pulling in the drive-thru or
strolling through the lobby at the Main Street branch, be sure
and tell Shannon congratulations and how
happy we are for her.

Three Dog
Night Revisited |
|
Security
Federal Savings Bank is proud to sponsor Leadership Warren's
showing of All Dogs Go To Heaven on Saturday, August 20th on
Security Federal's West Lawn for the 9th Annual Family Movie Night.

The 1989
animated feature is a United Artists production about a dog that
forsakes his place in Heaven to seek revenge for his killer.
The voice talents of (Oscar nominated) Burt Reynolds, (Golden
Globe and Emmy nominated) Dom Deluise, Judith Barsi, and (two
time Golden Globe winner) Vic Tayback sparkle through this very
endearing story of right vs. wrong. As they say, nothing warms
the heart like a cold nose.
Leadership
Warren will be the night's concessions vendor as well as
providing games and activities that includes a door prize. This
year's activities will also involve a guest appearance
by the Fire Dog and the McMinnville Fire Department! The food, games, and activities start at
7:00PM and the movie will begin at 8:00PM.

Seasonal Festivities |
|
Downtown McMinnville will be all a buzz with activities galore
planned for the next couple of weeks. Here's a run down:
The City Of McMinnville will be proudly presenting the Annual
Christmas Parade on December 4th with this year's theme being
"It's a Dr. Seuss Christmas". Line up is at 12:00PM with step off scheduled for
2:30PM with the parade ending at the Farmer's Market. For more information,
call 931-473-1200.
The 26th Annual Christmas In The Park will be held in historic
downtown McMinnville on The Square from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on
Tuesday, December 6th. In addition to the lighting of the
City's Christmas Tree, there will be all kinds of Christmas
activities that have become traditional for this event, even Santa
and Mrs. Clause will be showing up. The event is sponsored by the
McMinnville Junior Auxiliary. For more information, contact
Ashley Wright at 931-607-6599 or Kim Chisam at 931-473-4483.
The 1940's
themed "I'll Be Home For Christmas" has been such a smash hit
in years past, Main Street McMinnville and the Heritage
Alliance is doing
it again. From 2:30PM to 9:00PM on December 10th, the familiar vintage automobiles and
hordes of personalities will be back as well as singing at Magness
Library, a live window display at Paula's Dance Academy,
a movie, and the Dr Pepper "Jump! Jive! & Jingle"
Swing Dance on the Square. So, don't
be a "fuddy-duddy", bring your "fly chick" downtown all decked
out in your "niftic threads" for a great time. For more
